Project Name: Feedback Control for Normal Force on Korry Friction Device
Team Members:
- Kaitlin Butler
- Julian Heinze
Faculty Contacts:
- Professor Chris Byrne, WKU Electrical Engineering
- Professor Doug Harper, WKU Physics
Synopsis
Modify the existing software for the Korry Friction Device, also called the TMI – Tactus Metrology Instrument, to incorporate feedback control to keep the normal force at a fixed constant value during a measurement cycle.
