  1. Understand the fundamentals of operation of the following actuators and sensors:
  2. Understand the fundamental differences between, limitations for, and how to implement Software Timed DAQ and Hardware Timed DAQ.
  3. Understand the capabilities of the myDAQ and the relationship between its specifications and the properties of the signals it can measure or generate.
  4. Understand how to use feedback to control a parameter to force it to reach a desired setpoint by using the built-in PID routines in LabVIEW.  Understand PID and terms such as process variable, control variable, setpoint, and error.
  5. Understand the following LabVIEW design patterns:
  6. Understand different techniques to pass data between two loops running in parallel.
  7. Be able to write a program that will measure a voltage from your myDAQ, perform a simple computation, and plot multiple traces of data on a waveform chart.
