Day 16: Signal Generation

NI Self-Paced Online Training

Up till now most of our focus has been on measuring voltage signals using the analog input feature of our DAQ hardware.  Today we will look at generating signals using the analog output capability in the fourth module in the Measurement Fundamental series of the DAQmx course titled Generating an Analog Signal.

Day 16 Topics

Today we will take a look at using hardware timing within an analog output task.  We will look at some built-in examples using the NI Example Finder and also will look at an example written in an Event Driven State Machine design pattern that is located in the DAQ Examples folder in our SVN repository.

The remainder of the time will focus on the RPN Calculator exercise.
