I haven’t seen anyone comment on the CLAD questions so I thought that I would chime in on one. In this problem, the ‘\’ codes (called backslash codes) display is used to show hidden characters such as tabs, spaces, carriage returns or other non-printable characters. For example, a space is shown as a ‘\s’ in this type of display. The phrase “Hello World” would be displayed as “Hello\sWorld”. In password display, all characters show up as asterisks to hide the value in the text box. In Hex display the ASCII equivalent of each character is displayed as a two-digit hexadecimal value. Thus, all of these are viable display options for strings on the Front Panel.
