Rutgers astrophysics
The astrophysics graduate program at Rutgers University is looking for promising students to recruit. They have recently hired two new faculty to broaden their research breadth, which includes cosmology, dark matter, dark energy, galaxy evolution, gravitational lensing, supernovae, interstellar turbulence, stellar populations, and time-domain astronomy. Facilities include several major observatory memberships (ACT, SALT, LSST) and a high-performance computing cluster. Student stipends and tuition are paid by teaching and research assistantships. In addition, the physics GRE is not required for the astronomy program (but is for physics). For further details, please see http://astro.rutgers.edu/.
Thanks to Dr. McGruder for forwarding this information!
