2025 Sigma Pi Sigma Banquet Invitation

Dear Friends,

You are cordially invited to attend the 65^th Anniversary WKU Sigma Pi Sigma banquet at 6:00pm on Saturday, May 3^rd, in Room 3020 of Downing Student Union, on WKU’s main campus in Bowling Green.  DSU is located on the Avenue of Champions across from Diddle Arena, with parking available in the same area.  The banquet room is on the 3rd floor of DSU, on the east side (toward the mall) [see DSU map].  Please arrive at approximately 5:45pm, as dinner will begin at 6:00. 

The banquet is a nice occasion to get together with friends and colleagues in a social setting and celebrate the achievements of students in our department over the past year.  Those recognized will include rising physics majors, scholarship recipients, graduating seniors, departmental award winners, new officers in the Society of Physics Students, and of course new inductees into the Sigma Pi Sigma national physics honor society, which has been a fixture at WKU since 1960.  Friends and family are very welcome. The cost is free for SPS members and nonmembers alike.  However, we would like to have a reasonable count of the number of people to expect, so please sign up before Wednesday, April 30^th if you wish to come.
