SPS Meeting Minutes – 02/02/2024

SPS met at 3:45 PM and discussed:

• SPS Members are encouraged to volunteer to help at the WKU Physics Olympics. More about this will be announced soon. Questions should be directed to Dr. Terzic.
• SPS can participate in an Earth Day event on Monday, April 22nd.
• High School outreach can be organized through Kenny Lee.
• SPS round-robin chess tournament in the works.
• SPS Shirts:
  • Designs can be submitted in the SPS Room on the board.
• SPS Trip:
  • Chicago is a leading candidate; touring Argonne National Laboratory will require at least 10 students.
  • Other ideas should be directed to Isaiah.
  • If you are interested in going, please answer the poll (soon to be) in the GroupMe!

The next meeting is currently scheduled for February 23 with a Game Night afterwards.
