Dear Students,
As you may know, there are a number of conferences coming up soon where you can learn about new and exciting research in your field, network with your peers at other institutions, and even present your own research results to the scientific community. It’s a great opportunity to learn something more about the profession, build your communication skills, and have some fun as well! Here are details about a few conferences you may want to consider. Note that some of these have deadlines that are just around the corner!

- 2022 Kentucky Academy of Science (KAS) – November 10-12, Morehead, KY; abstract and early registration deadline October 1
- 2023 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) – April 13-15, Eau Claire, WI; abstract deadline November 30
- 2023 Posters at the Capitol – March 2, Frankfort, KY; WKU participants determined by internal selection process, deadline December 11
- 2023 January American Astronomical Society (AAS) General Meeting – January 8-12, Seattle, WA, or Virtual; abstract deadline October 11
