Southeastern Section of the American Physical Society

This Fall 2012, we are anticipating bringing a group of students to the 79th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Section of the American Physical Society (SESAPS  http://sesaps12.fsu.edu/SESAPS12/Welcome.html) which will be held this year November 14-17 in Tallahassee, FL. I am a session organizer for this conference as well as giving an invited presentation. For the students, the abstract submission deadline is September 19, 2012 (http://sesaps12.fsu.edu/SESAPS12/Abstracts.html).There is also undergraduate travel support for this conference and on abstract submission, we should encourage our students to apply for this support which is then due 1 week after abstract submission. The forms can be located at: http://sesaps12.fsu.edu/SESAPS12/Support.html. If I can get a list of attendees who will be submitting an abstract, I can start planning for the trip.
