2018 SPS Spring Picnic!

Hello SPS Members!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic spring break and enjoying their time off. Let’s keep the spring festivities going at our annual SPS Spring Picnic on Saturday, March 31st from 11 am to 2 pm. We have reserved a pavilion at Covington Woods Park by the basketball court and will plan on serving food around noon.  This is a great chance to get together with classmates and faculty and spend time away from the department. So come out and enjoy a game a basketball, a round of cornhole, or the company of our members and wonderful faculty.

There are sign-up sheets for the event in both the SPS room and the Physics and Astronomy department offices. Faculty are encouraged to bring a dish. Students may also bring along their favorite dish if they are so inclined but this is not required. Please be sure to sign up if you are interested in coming so we have an accurate count of how many we can expect.
