2024 Sigma Pi Sigma banquet invitation
Dear Friends,
You are cordially invited to attend the 64th Anniversary WKU Sigma Pi Sigma banquet at 6:00pm on Friday, April 26th, in the Downing Student Union “Nite Class” room on WKU’s main campus in Bowling Green. DSU is located on the Avenue of Champions across from Diddle Arena, with parking available in the same area. “Nite Class” is an event room on the 1st floor of DSU, on the east (mall) side near the Red Zone and the food court [see DSU map].
The banquet is a nice occasion to get together with friends and colleagues in a social setting and celebrate the achievements of students in our department over the past year. Those recognized will include rising physics majors, scholarship recipients, graduating seniors, departmental award winners, new officers in the Society of Physics Students, and of course new inductees into the Sigma Pi Sigma national physics honor society, which has been a fixture at WKU since 1960. Friends and family are very welcome. The cost is free for SPS members and nonmembers alike. However, we would like to have a reasonable count of the number of people to expect, so please sign up before Wednesday, April 24th if you wish to come.
