2022 Sigma Pi Sigma banquet — invitation

Dear Friends,

You are cordially invited to attend the 62^nd Anniversary WKU Sigma Pi Sigma banquet at 6:00pm on Friday, April 29th, at Cambridge Market and Café, located at 830 Fairview Avenue in Bowling Green.  This is a nice occasion to get together with friends and colleagues in a social setting and celebrate the achievements of students in our department over the past year, and it’s also our first opportunity to hold such a celebration in a dinner setting since 2019!  Those recognized will include rising physics majors, scholarship recipients, graduating seniors, departmental award winners, new officers in the Society of Physics Students, and of course new inductees into the Sigma Pi Sigma national physics honor society, which has been a fixture at WKU since 1960.  Friends and family are very welcome. The cost is free for SPS members and nonmembers alike.  However, we do need to have a reasonable count of the number of people to expect by next Tuesday or Wednesday (April 26 or 27), so please sign up soon if you wish to come.
