SPS Meeting
Hey all,
Due to the weather, we did not have a meeting last week. So, we decided to move it to this coming Friday, same time same place. That is, 3:00 in room 2038 on the physics floor.
In the meantime, I would like to remind you about physics olympics. Please consider helping out at this event. It tends to be a lot of fun, and it’s a great opportunity for outreach. All of these students are competing for WKU scholarships, so there is a chance meeting all you cool people will show them this is a choice they could and should make. Also, I know I don’t have anyone I can talk to about physics on the weekends, so if your family also has forbade you from speaking about that specific topic, this is an excuse.
In addition, we hope you will all volunteer your time for SKY-Sci Fest. It’s a great way to interact with the community.
These events are February 19th and April 23rd, respectively. They’re events the club is always involved with, and we hope to continue with in the future. If there are any questions, feel free to ask at the meeting on Friday. There will also be signup sheets in the SPS room starting this afternoon, so please consider these opportunities.
