General Meeting and Halloween Movie Night

Hello friends,

I apologize for all of the messages all at once. The next general meeting of the Western Kentucky chapter of the Society of Physics Students will be Thursday, October 7th. There will be pizza. We will discuss outreach, the progress of a south lawn event, possible trips for next semester, shirts, and the possibility for events in November.

Directly following this meeting, we will hold a game night on the physics floor, in room KTH 2038. We will have Smash, Uno, and snacks, among other things. Fun will be had.

In addition, the next event we have planned is a movie night the Thursday before Halloween, the 28th of October. There is a list of possible movies on the board in the SPS room, which anyone is welcome to add to. Within the next few weeks, we will post a survey, which will be how the movie is chosen. For this event, costumes are not required, but they are encouraged. We will discuss locations at the aforementioned meeting.
