SPS – Spring 2018 semester
Greetings current members of SPS!
Welcome to the spring 2018 semester with the SPS club. Myself and the other officers met last week to discuss exciting happenings this semester including the recent move into our new location in the Environmental Science and Technology (EST) building, room 206. All future meetings will be held in this new location on the first Thursday of every month. We invite you to join us this Thursday, February 1st, at 5:30 pm at our first meeting of the semester. We will have free pizza and drinks and will be discussing our upcoming activities.
I’d like to take this opportunity to remind our members that TCCW will be closed at the end of this month which is this coming Wednesday, January 31st. James Pierce and I, along with other members, have moved essential items to our new location in preparation. If any members have personal items in our old TCCW room, this is the time to reclaim those items. The project manager may not be willing to let people back into TCCW once renovations begin.
We look forward to a great semester and seeing you at the upcoming meeting. See you this Thursday!
Sincerely,
Zack Thomas, SPS President
SPS monthly riddle: You have two ropes. Each rope takes one hour to burn. These ropes are not identical, nor are they uniform; i.e. it may not take exactly half an hour for half the rope to burn. With only these two ropes and a way to light them, how can you measure out 45 minutes?
