2009 Argonne Research Symposium
Each year the WKU Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Society of Physics Students sponsor a trip to the annual Argonne Undergraduate Research Symposium in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics held at the Argonne National Laboratory just outside Chicago, IL. The 2009 symposium was on November 16 and WKU sent a group of seventeen students.
As usual the group also found time to enjoy the sights in downtown Chicago on the trip and of course to have some Chicago-style pizza. A collection of photos from the trip are shown below.
