Music

I started learning how to play the Chinese long zither (Guzheng) in the winter of 2002. It was a lot of fun and lasted for about a year and half until I had to move. After I moved to Tucson, I was fortunate to join the Summer Thunder Asian Music club to play music. This was my first time playing in a group, and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I had to move again and, now in Bowling Green, I have not yet been able to find a group to play music with. I am hoping this will change soon. I have also acquired a new instrument called a Pipa recently, and I try to pluck a string or two when I am not too busy teaching. So far, this hasn't been often, so it may be some time before I can confidently play it. Here are some links about Chinese music and instruments:
