Western Kentucky University uses an automated registration procedure called TOPLINE.
You will use TOPLINE often to register for classes, inquire about grades, check on
fee payment information, and confirm your enrollment at WKU. Follow the instructions
below to set up your TOPLINE Personal Access Code.
- Access TOPLINE using a touch-tone telephone.
On-Campus: Dial 9-746-2000
Off-Campus, Local: Dial 746-2000
Off-Campus, Long Distance: Dial 1 (502)746-2000
- Enter your nine-digit student identification number (typically your social security
number).
- Enter your Personal Access Code (PAC). Your initial PAC is your birth date in a
six-digit format of month-day-year. (Example 072473 for July 24, 1973).
- You will be required to change your PAC to a new four-digit code of your choice.
Remember to keep your PAC confidential. You should choose something that will be
easy for you to remember but difficult for anyone else to figure out.
The University has established an automated system called TORI - Total Online Resource Interface for,
among other things, creating electronic mail accounts. Access to the TORI system
requires that you have properly selected your Personal Access Code. We will use TORI
in class on August 26 to create your electronic mail account. You will need to
establish your PAC before then end of business on Wednesday, August 25, since, after
setting your PAC, you must wait until 8:00 a.m. the following day before your it will be
available for use with the TORI system.
