The Western Kentucky Physics Teachers Alliance invites you
to join us for its Fall 2002 Meeting. The meeting will be held at Warren
Central High School in Bowling Green, KY. Supper will be provided by the
Western Kentucky University Department of Physics and Astronomy. There
will be plenty of opportunity for sharing of concerns common to area physics
teachers. Also feel free to bring a demonstration to share with the
group if you like.
Schedule of Activities
6:00 Eat (supper provided by WKU Department of Physics and
Astronomy).
6:30 Open discussion of concerns, interests.
7:00 DEMO TIME with Dr. J and Grand Master Lee (Doug Jenkins & Kenny Lee)
- Karate Chop (momentum)
- Bouncing GNIP-GNOP Ball (electrical charging)
- Plane & Simple (circular motion)
- Light Breeze (electrical resistance)
- Sour Grapes (magnetic force)
- Sound Bites (transmission of sound)
- ??? (who knows what else)
At the end of the DEMO TIME presentation anyone who wants to share a demo has the floor!
