A fully functional spectrometer control program that will operate
either the SPEX 0.75m spectrometer or the 0.30 m McPherson
spectrometer in the department.
Automation of the College Heights Weather Station
Creation of a package that will monitor, store and display via the
internet data collected from instruments in the College Heights
Weather Station.
Low Temperature Data Acquisition System
Creation of a system that will measure resistance of a material as
a function of temperature using a four-point probe technique.
This project will employ a Janis Super Vari-Temp optical cryostat, a
Lakeshore temperature controller, and Keithley electrical
components.
