Objective
This experiment will provide a brief introduction to diodes. Diodes are active circuit components that can be used to only allow current to flow in one direction in a circuit. You will learn:- how to test a diode,
- how to measure the forward voltage \(V_F\) of a diode,
- how to measure the \(I\textrm{-}V\) curve for a diode, and
- how to protect a diode with a current limiting resistor.
